We used Catering by Terrie for a 50th birthday party and everything was fantastic! We had an outdoor BBQ and the food was amazing. From the clam chowder ( to die for) and the baked Brie cheese with apples (sooooo good). The chicken and steak on a stick was yummy! All of my guests were complimenting on the food all day. Terrie's staff was so helpful and even cleaned up everything at the end. I would recommend using Catering by Terrie to anyone! Very professional and pleasant. Thank you again!!

Hi Terrie, We're still hearing about how wonderful the food and service was for our backyard BBQ birthday/ graduation party Saturday June 27th. Shawnda was amazing, we really appreciated that she not only delivered, set up, and grilled everything, but she also worked the whole party, constantly stepping into help out and clean up. We were able to relax and host. We also are still hearing about the Buffalo chicken dip, THAT was amazing!! You'll definitely be hearing from us again regarding future events.

"I recently bought a new home which I was very proud of and wanted to have a party to celebrate. After picking the date and creating the perfect invitation, I just couldn’t seem to get it together to organize and plan the actual party. That’s where Terrie came in. Literally at the last moment (two weeks before) a friend suggested I contact her and ask for help. Not only did she have the time available – thank God – but she also took all the stress away and let me start enjoying the thoughts of preparing my new home for its debut. 

The evening of the party couldn’t have been more perfect. It was an unseasonably warm evening in September and I was able to host the event in my backyard. With Terrie’s help my backyard became an enchanted venue with white linen and tea lights on the tables. She used china plates and silverware. Terrie not only catered the “affair” but she also took over my house and made me a guest at my own party. I actually enjoyed the party and was able to spend time with my guests. She and her staff made the evening memorable for my guests and me. It was truly the event of the season. A year later it is still being talked about. From the moment I decided to use Terrie as the caterer all my concerns and anxiety disappeared. 

I’ve decided September is my month for parties and I hope Terrie and her staff will always be available. My guests are already looking forward to her delicious food."

“What a positive experience it was to use your catering service last year for our son's First Holy Communion celebration. It was the first time we have ever had a catered event at our home, so as you would expect, we were a little nervous.

You did a great job walking us through the whole process from menu choices, display options and service needs. The food was fresh, colorful and very tasty! There was something for everyone…cold sandwiches, light salads and hot, hearty food. The display was beautiful and unique and looked wonderful!

We couldn’t have been happier with Catering by Terrie! We hired her for our son’s high school graduation party and we are still getting compliments about the food. It was amazing! From the moment we made the call to Terrie to see if she was free to the day of the party, she was incredibly helpful and took care of EVERYTHING including setting up a beautiful presentation of the various dishes in our backyard right before people arrived. All the food was excellent but we wanted to especially give a shout out to Terrie’s homemade clam chowder. It was out of this world! Terrie is reliable, easy to work with, and an expert at her craft which we needed because we had never had a catered party at our house before. We appreciated her expert tips and practical advice. I have the pleasure of working with Catering by Terrie weekly as she caters our weekly company lunch. Terrie is always on time and sets up quickly and seamlessly. Terrie’s meals are always fresh (made with quality ingredients), delicious and you can tell that everything she makes is made with pride. The quality and quantity of our weekly lunches is always perfect and if we have additional lunch guests, Terrie is always accommodating.
 
Terrie creates a diverse menu so that all 50 of our employees return to work with full bellies. Some of our favorites include her chicken parm, meatballs, stuffed shells, harvest salad, spicy crab soup, chicken salad, Italian sandwiches and of course her desserts!
 
I would highly recommend Terrie for any event either it be business or personal- easy planning, delicious food and exceptional service!

I highly recommend Catering by Terrie for your catering needs. Terrie was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating with our menu requests – we had two vegetarians! She was flexible and prepared the most delicious homemade food for our group, including soup, assorted wraps, couscous, green harvest salad and brownies. She also took care of bringing drinks and paper products – there was no detail left unturned, which made it incredibly easy for us. We were actually on a 4-day trip, and it was the overall consensus that Terrie’s menu was the best food by far! I will certainly be going back to Terrie for any of my catering needs in the Boston area. Thank you, Terrie!

We decided to use Catering by Terrie for a baby shower that we had for my niece. All of us planning the shower decided that we didn't want to worry about preparing food. Terrie made it so easy, she was always available for questions and guidance while it was being planned. Her display was beautiful and the food was impeccable! Gorgeous harvest salad, hot delicious soups, and fresh wraps were perfect for a party of 70+ woman and all of them could not stop raving about it for the whole shower. Cannot forget to mention the coffee bar that was a hit as well. I cannot say enough good things about the service and generous portions. We contacted Terrie about doing our son's Bar Mitzvah after hearing from another friend that Terrie had done her son's Bar Mitzvah - and that everything was fabulous.
 
Due to circumstances beyond any of our control, we had to make several changes to the menu 2 weeks before the event. Terrie didn't even bat an eyelash. She was always upbeat and positive as things got added or dropped over the course of a few days.
 
In the end, she and her team prepared a fabulous Kosher-esque menu. She got RAVE reviews on the Latkes and the Squash Raviolis.
 
It was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. Her staff were there when we needed them, and invisible when we didn't - a very professional group (I was a cater-waiter when I was younger, so I know!)
 
I have a big party coming up this summer and I'll be contacting Terrie again!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from “Catering by Terrie” for a different catering option for our Corporate Company Meeting. The Meeting was held at a local Yacht Club, with a total of 75-100 employees. The food was delivered on time with unique and outstanding service! Terrie is the easiest and most professional to work with; she had different and healthy ideas for our meeting. The food was delicious, fresh and unique and there was something for everyone to enjoy. From the Harvest Salad, Warm Buffalo Chicken Dip, Homemade Meatballs and Specialty Mini Cakes for each of our employees who had a special anniversary. I would highly recommend “Catering by Terrie” not only for Business but definitely for family parties, charities etc. Rest assured you will be hearing from us shortly. Our event was a success and the food only made it better.

We hired Catering by Terrie for our daughter’s First Communion party and it was a great decision. The food got rave reviews! When we got home Terrie had everything set up and even helped me out by putting out some platters that I had in the refrigerator. We had a lot of hungry guests who dove right into Terrie’s phenomenal coffee cake. Everyone loved the other food as well – assorted sandwiches (best chicken salad), Caesar salad with delicious chicken, the yummiest Spinach Salad with fresh strawberries, craisins, toasted almonds, raspberry vinaigrette and the tastiest chicken broccoli ziti I ever had. Terrie was great to work with putting the menu together and with my list of dietary constraints (no cheese on this, but cheese on this, croutons on the side.. etc. ). Thank you Terrie and I look forward to working with you again.

Two years ago I was referred to Terrie for a bereavement luncheon so when it came time for my daughter’s baby shower there was no question as to who to contact for the catering. Terrie was recommended to me by The Milton (Hoosic) Club to cater a luncheon after my husband’s funeral. She was absolutely wonderful. I had no idea how many people to expect and just randomly came up with a number. The sandwiches were spectacular, potato salad was delicious and her desserts were scrumptious.
 
Even when I realized we may have more people than food, she had it under control and quickly got more food so everyone had plenty to eat.

I have used Terrie twice in the last two weeks. The first event was an unexpected dinner party at my house for surprise guests. With 24 hours notice, Terrie whipped up an amazing beef tenderloin dinner with delicious salad and vegetables, alongside a delectable macaroni and cheese ( ordered for the kids, but consumed by all.) This never would have been possible for me to accomplish on a Friday night after working a full week!  
 
The second event was lunch for my children's school. It is a small staff that collaborates well. I felt that the whole school should be acknowledged for teacher appreciation because they all play a part in my children's education. Again Terrie came through with delicious salads, healthy wraps, and of course her amazing coffee cake. 

Again, people raved about her food. I highly recommend Terrie for busy moms and unexpected events!

"When planning a surprise cocktail party for my wife's 30th Birthday I needed a good caterer, and didn't know where to turn. I was having the party at the Milton Hoosic and the venue manager strongly suggested Catering by Terrie.  

I could not have hoped for any better service than I received from Terrie and her staff. While planning the party I was unsure of what type of menu to choose for this type of cocktail party, so Terrie was very helpful in deciding what type of menu to create. It turned out to be just perfect. The food was outstanding and had everyone talking, and it was the perfect mix of cocktail Hors D'oeuvres, delicious calzones and a great assortment of sandwiches.
